1. ReFuelEU Aviation
What's new:
ReFuelEU Aviation (EU Regulation 2023/2405) requires operators exceeding defined annual activity thresholds to report detailed fuel information, including locally uplifted fuel, required fuel, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) purchase and allocation data.
FL3XX provides comprehensive ReFuelEU support through:
-
Web and Mobile fuel capture
-
Backend calculations and validation
-
Automated unit conversion
-
Union Airport detection by year
All functionality is designed to support data capture starting 1 January 2025 for future regulatory reporting.
You can find more information on how ReFuelEU works in FL3XX in our Knowledge Base.
This update is available to all operators with a FL3XX subscription.

2. Mobile: Full ReFuelEU Aviation Support for Android & iOS (Crew & Dispatch Apps)
What's new:
We have extended the Post Flight → Fuel section on both iOS and Android to fully align with ReFuelEU Aviation requirements for flights departing from EU airports.
When the operator setting "Enable Post Flight Extra Fuel Fields" is ON, new grouped fields appear: Safety Fuel Information (planned/actual uplifted, tankering categories with multi-select, operational consumption) and Fuel Reporting Data [Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) purchases including provider, batch, amount, eligible details, feedstock, emissions, claimed schemes].
Key enhancements include automatic copy of uplift data for EU departures, visual EU flag icon + tooltip, per-flight compliance badge with color-coded uplift percentage (yellow <95 %, red <90 %) and penalty display/message, plus audit support via comment field and multiple attachments.
All fields respect aircraft Fuel Burn Units (FBU), support full offline editing/sync/conflict resolution, bi-directional real-time sync with web, and calculated fields using backend logic (last known offline).
This delivers precise compliance tracking, better audit readiness, and consistent data across platforms - directly addressing growing regulatory needs for EU operations.
This update is available to all operators with a FL3XX subscription. For more information visit the Knowledge Base.

3. EU Electronic Invoice
What's new:
Currently, this feature’s logic is based on the German standard of the EU E-Invoicing regulation. - So we need your input!
You can help us prioritize further enhancements by letting us know if anything is missing to ensure compliance with your country’s regulations through
-
Upvoty (app.fl3xx.com/new/features or app.fl3xx.us/new/features), or
-
By sending a short message to support@fl3xx.com.
With this enhancement, you can now generate a machine-readable invoice XML (EN 16931) in FL3XX and send it as an additional attachment together with the standard FL3XX invoice PDF.
E-invoicing is delivered as an optional XML attachment sent with the invoice email (alongside the PDF). This supports workflows in which recipients (or the operator’s own accounting inbox) can automatically import invoices into their accounting systems.
The following key features for EU e-invoicing are supported by FL3XX:
-
Automatic XML generation for invoices using EN 16931 (UBL 2.1)
-
Email attachment support - XML sent together with the PDF invoice
-
Configurable behavior (disable, opt-in, opt-out) via System Settings
-
Accounting workflow friendly - supports sending with BCC to an operator-controlled accounting inbox for automated import
This update is available to all operators with a FL3XX subscription. For more information visit the Knowledge Base.

4. Pricing Engine: Account-Level Discount & Commission in Quote Calculations
What's new:
The FL3XX Pricing Engine can now use discount and commission values maintained on the Account page to automatically populate the relevant discount/surcharge fields when creating Pricing Engine quotes in Sales.
This reduces manual input during quoting and helps ensure that account-specific commercial terms are applied consistently across quotes and bookings. As a result, operators get clearer, more reliable pricing outputs - especially when standard discounts, commissions, or surcharges should always apply to a specific customer.
Where to find it:
-
Maintain values: Account page (Discount / Commission fields)
-
Used in quotes: Sales → Pricing Engine → Price Panel (auto-filled in calculation)
This update is available to all operators with Pricing Engine access and is enabled by default as part of the Pricing Engine. For more information visit the Knowledge Base.

5. Flight Time Limitation (FTL) Calculation Improvements
What's new:

-
FL3XX now supports setting a maximum flight time within the Flight Duty Period for Maximum Daily Flight Duty Period tables.

6. InfoWerk: Qualifications Without Expiry Date
What's new:
Some operators do not maintain (or do not consistently maintain) expiry or base month calculation configurations in InfoWERK, which results in training records being transmitted without an Expiry Date.
With this update, the Expiry Date is updated as follows in FL3XX:
|
Issue Date sent by InfoWERK |
Expiry Date sent by InfoWERK |

7. Mobile: Airport Recency & Briefing Tracking in Crew and Dispatch Apps for Android & iOS
What's new:
We have introduced automated Airport Recency tracking to help crews and dispatchers maintain airport-specific qualifications effortlessly. When enabled in Company Settings, the system automatically updates recency based on landings, take-offs, and SIM duties, while displaying required briefings per crew member/role in the Crew section of Flight Details.
In the Crew app, users can view their own "Airport Briefing" items (e.g., briefing lines with toggles for acknowledgment, attached documents for viewing/downloading, and status colors: red for pending, yellow for flight acknowledged but briefing pending, green for completed). The Dispatch app provides a full crew overview with upload capability on the web and view-only access on mobile.
Features include 2-hour pre-flight push notifications that route directly to the Crew tab, color-coded bubbles/tooltips across apps and web, and secure document management - online only.
This update is available to all operators with a FL3XX subscription. For more information visit the Knowledge Base.
8. Mobile: Calendar View in The Android Owner App
What's new:
The Owner app for Android has received a significant enhancement: it now includes a new calendar view, giving owners a clear overview of aircraft availability, location, and key activities for selected dates - all in one place. This update also brings overall UI improvements across the app, along with stability enhancements and minor bug fixes.
