1. QuickBooks

What's new:

Big news - FL3XX now offers a QuickBooks integration!

This new FL3XX – QuickBooks integration allows operators to automatically synchronize accounting data such as customers, products, and invoices between both systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information without manual re-entry.

 

The following key-features are supported:

1. Secure OAuth2 connection between FL3XX and QuickBooks

2. Customer/Accounts synchronization between systems

3. Automatic invoice creation in QuickBooks when invoices are sent or silent-sent in FL3XX

4. Product/Service mapping between FL3XX line items and QuickBooks items

5. Custom invoicing settings to simplify or aggregate line items

 

The FL3XX – QuickBooks integration works exclusively with QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks Desktop or other versions are not supported, as the integration relies on the QuickBooks Online API for data exchange and authentication.

2. Floating Fleet AI Scheduler

What's new:

The new Floating Fleet AI Scheduler integration helps boost operational efficiency by enabling schedulers to make smarter, faster decisions. The integration provides optimization recommendations for aircraft and crew assignments, which can result in significant cost savings for operators. With just one click, these recommendations can be transferred directly to FL3XX.

3. French VAT: Corsica

What's new:

FL3XX has improved the French VAT calculation, specifically for flights between mainland France and Corsica. With this update, a 10% VAT is applied to the portion of the flight that takes place within French airspace. The exact percentage of the flight subject to the 10% VAT is displayed in the Pricing section of the Sales Module when quoting a flight.

 

Step 1: A flight from France mainland to Corsica is quoted.

 

Step 2: The percentage of the flight in French airspace is automatically calculated and taxed with 10% VAT.

 

How it works:

This tax calculation improvement only applies for operators who are subject to French VAT.

In order to check if everything is set up correctly, go to Settings - Configuration - Sales Tax and make sure:

1. "VAT For Domestic Flights [%]" is set to 10 %,
2. "Calculate Based on" is set to Flights, and
3. France is selected as a country.

4. FL3XX Bright: Booking Dataset Update

What's new:

We are excited to announce a major update to the Booking dataset. This release improves financial fields, increases accuracy in tax-related calculations (VAT and FET), and enhances usability for operators in both the Europe/International and the Americas regions.

Based on your feedback regarding inconsistencies in pricing and tax data, we have introduced changes that make reporting more reliable, region-specific, and aligned with FL3XX front-end (FE) fields.

Find the key improvements below:

 

a) Refined Field Descriptions

• Booked: Clearly indicates if a booking is "booked" (1) – based on type "Booked" and non-cancelled status – or "not booked" (0).
• Booking Status: Maps codes to user-friendly labels including
  • 'Cancelled',
  • 'OK',
  • 'Failed',
  • 'Pending',
  • 'Closed',
  • 'Dropped'
  •  'Declined', or
  • 'Deleted'.
• Booking Type: Categorizes bookings as 'Booked', 'Option', or 'Quoted' for improved filtering.

 

b) Enhanced Pricing and Tax Fields

• New "Tax" Field: Captures general tax data, complementing region-specific taxes.
• Value Added Tax (VAT) and Federal Excise Tax (FET) Handling: Displays VAT for European and FET for US-American operators, ensuring compliance and accurate regional reporting.
• Deprecated Fields: Older fields such as "VAT/FET", "Quote Net Price", "Quote Gross Price", "Net Price", and "Gross Price" are now marked with a "(deprecated)" suffix.

• New Financial Fields: Aligned directly with FE columns ("Total" for quotes, "Actual/Current" for booked, and "Sold" for finalized bookings):

• • Net Price (Total)
    Net price from "Total" (quote) or "Actual/Current" (booked).

  • TAX (Total)
    General tax from "Total" (quote) or "Actual/Current" (booked).

  • VAT (Total)
    VAT from "Total" (quote) or "Actual/Current" (booked).

  • FET (Total)
    FET from "Total" (quote) or "Actual/Current" (booked).

  • Gross Price (Total)
    Gross price from "Total" (quote) or "Actual/Current" (booked).

  • Net Price (Sold)
    Net price from "Sold" (booked only).

  • TAX (Sold)
    General tax from "Sold" (booked only).

  • VAT (Sold)
    VAT from "Sold" (booked only).

  • FET (Sold)
    FET from "Sold" (booked only).

  • Gross Price (Sold)
    Gross price from "Sold" (booked only).
