How to set-up and activate VOCUS for the first time

VOCUS integration can only be activated if the VOCUS account you are using is NOT connected to your previous scheduling software. 

Prerequisites:

  • Crew profiles created in Staff module
  • Aircraft profiles created in Aircraft module
  • Workflows established

Activating the VOCUS integration before your FL3XX go-live date is safe so long as it has been disconnected from other scheduling systems. 

  1. Contact VOCUS (your dedicated contact or info@polarisaero.com) and state your intention to activate the FL3XX integration. Request an API username and API password created specifically for this integration (these are not the credentials used to log in to VOCUS).
  2. Once you receive the API credentials, go to FL3XX → Settings → Integrations → VOCUS (Polaris Aero) and enter them there. SAVE.

You can now use the integration (and manage the other settings available - including updating your crew and tail sync if you add new profiles after activation).
