Share Instances
The Share Instances feature in FL3XX enables two operators using separate FL3XX instances to collaborate by sharing operational data.
Introduction
FL3XX supports flexible collaboration models between operators by offering a sharing setup for either Flights, Sales, or a combination of both. This functionality is especially useful for operators working under a management agreement, alliance, or joint operational setup. It is also popular with operators using external dispatch / trip support, where all flights are being shared with the trip support provider. The trip support provider can then work on flights from all of their operators in one instance.
Depending on the agreement between parties, sharing can be configured to focus only on sales coordination or include full flight and aircraft management.
Overview
Operators can view sharing configurations under Settings > Shared Instances, where all active sharing links with other operators are listed. Each connection can support either Flight sharing[1], Sales sharing[2], or both.
This section is read-only for operators.
All configuration must be set up and managed by FL3XX Support upon operator request. To request instance sharing or changes to an existing setup, please contact FL3XX Support with details about the intended collaboration and scope (Flights, Sales, or both).
How it works
Once the Share Instances feature is enabled between two FL3XX operators (e.g., Instance A to Instance B), a data-sharing link is established allowing either Flight information, Sales information, or both to be shared across systems.
The behavior of the feature depends on the enabled sharing type:
When Flight Sharing is enabled:
Aircraft:-
All aircraft from the Instance sharing flights are automatically shared with second operator.
- Shared aircraft can be booked interchangeably between the two instances.
- Flights created in one instance are visible and editable in the other.
- Both teams can manage each other’s flights operationally, including flight logs and movement status.
Persons
-
All Person entries (crew, passengers, etc.) are available across both instances.
-
This allows full visibility and consistency when managing crew or pax across shared flights.
Instance Identification
- Flights, flight strips, timeline blocks, and other shared items are visually marked with the origin instance’s logo, helping users identify which operator owns which record.
At this moment it is not possible to limit sharing to selected aircraft only.
When Sales Sharing is enabled:
Quotes and Bookings
-
All quotes and bookings created in one instance are visible in the other.
-
Sales teams can collaborate, assign aircraft based on instance sharing, and manage booking workflows collectively.
What is not shared
While much of the flight and sales data is shared between instances, several key components remain isolated:
-
Roster – each instance maintains its own crew roster planning.
-
License Page – license-related data is not shared between instances.
-
Staff > Qualifications – qualifications remain visible only within each individual instance.
-
Settings – all system settings (e.g. rules, configuration, permissions) are local to each instance.
