RocketRoute - Flight Planning
RocketRoute is a cloud-based flight planning software available on both desktop and mobile.
How It Works
The RocketRoute integration enables two-way data exchange between FL3XX and RocketRoute, allowing you to initiate your flight planning in FL3XX and continue building the flight plan directly in RocketRoute—without re-entering data. Once connected, key flight details are automatically pushed from FL3XX to RocketRoute, and you can retrieve the Briefing Pack directly into Dispatch when ready.
Once your RocketRoute credentials are entered, flights created or updated in Dispatch will automatically sync with RocketRoute. Additionally, you can manually trigger a sync at any time by navigating to Dispatch → FPL panel → Upload to RocketRoute.
The following flight data is automatically pushed from FL3XX to RocketRoute:
- Aircraft registration (tail)
- Flight number (as a callsign)
- Scheduled departure dates and times
- Departure and arrival airports
- Type of flight (G, M, S...)
- Flight level - must be inserted in ft/100, example 280, not 28000
- Crew (1 PIC, 1 SIC, cabin attendants; other crew types are displayed as cabin attendants in ForeFlight)
- Number of passengers
- Weight of cargo
Briefing Pack
FL3XX can also download the Briefing Pack directly from ForeFlight using the following steps:
- Activate the 2-way Communication in RocketRoute settings
- Make sure the flight has been submitted (and processed) in RocketRoute.
- Go to the FPL panel in Dispatch and click "Sync Briefing Pack"
- Documents will be automatically downloaded and attached. You can always update them if necessary by clicking the "Update button".
- When downloaded, they will be also attached to the Crew Briefing among other attachments.
