      Passenger Tax Netherlands

      Vliegbelasting Netherlands - Calculation

      The Vliegbelasting is a Dutch tax charged for passengers departing from a Dutch airport.

      It is calculated at a flat fee of €29.05 per passenger and does not depend on the passengers' final destination. It is applied on commercial and non-commercial flights.

      The following exemptions apply:

      • Aircraft with an MTOW < 8.616t are exempt

        • From July 1, 2024, air passenger tax will be exempt only to aircraft with an MTOW < 4.0t

      • Infants under the age of 2
      • Transit passengers
