      Passenger Tax Japan

      Japan International Tourist Tax - Calculation

      The International Tourist Tax is a Japanese tax charged for passengers departing Japan.

      It is calculated at a flat fee of ¥1000.00 per passenger, and it does not depend on the passengers' final destination.

      The following exemptions apply:

      • Infants under the age of 2
      • Private (non-commercial) flights
      • Domestic flights
      • Transit pax with less than 24h in Japan
