Accessing FL3XX Chat
- Find the Chat entry point in the Flight Details Menu, above flight notes.
- Tap to open the chat in a native bottom-up window.
- Return to the flight’s calendar day by tapping "<".
Chat States
- Empty (No Messages):
- Shows "Chat" with placeholder text "No messages yet."
- Regular font weight, no blue dot.
- Unread Messages:
- Displays latest message in bold with a blue dot.
- Includes timestamp (UTC).
- All Messages Read:
- Shows latest message in regular font with timestamp (UTC).
- No blue dot.
Chat Interface
- Mimics default SMS app for familiarity.
- No Messages:
- Displays paper airplane illustration and "No messages yet."
- Input field at bottom with "Start typing...".
- One or More Messages:
- Messages in bubble format: left for received, right for sent.
- Shows sender’s full name (First Last), image or initials, and timestamp (e.g., "dd mmm yyyy, hh:mm" in UTC).
- Scroll to view past messages (loads 10 at a time for large histories).
- Typing a Message:
- Input field at bottom.
- Send button (paper plane icon) appears only when text is entered, uses native animation when tapped.
- Unread Messages:
- Appear bold until viewed, then marked as read.
Offline Access
- View the first 10 messages offline if the flight is downloaded.
- Sending messages or loading more requires online access.
Important Note
- Push notifications for new messages are not available in this version but may be added in future updates.
