Connected Instances at FL3XX

Collaboration Across Entities. Independence Where It Matters.

FL3XX PREMIUM Feature

At FL3XX, we recognize that many operators operate through multiple legal entities, business units, or AOCs. While each entity may need to maintain operational and regulatory independence, collaboration across teams remains essential.

Connected Instances is designed to bridge this gap, allowing data sharing between independent FL3XX instances while maintaining full control, data ownership, and separation of operations.

This feature enables your organization to coordinate efficiently across entities, ensuring that shared information remains consistent and up to date, without compromising compliance or data integrity.

How It Works: Controlled Sharing, Clear Boundaries

Connected Instances allows two or more FL3XX environments to securely exchange specific data elements. Each instance remains autonomous, with separate user management, permissions, and configurations. Connections are always explicitly approved by both parties and can be adjusted or revoked at any time.

The sharing is one-to-one or one-to-many, depending on your operational structure and data needs. Each connection is monitored and version-controlled to ensure synchronization accuracy and traceability.

What Data Can Be Shared

Within the Connected Instances environment, the following data points can currently be shared:

  • Aircraft (basic aircraft data, registration, type, and availability)

  • Flights / Schedules (planned trips, tail assignments, and mission details)

  • Customers / Contacts

  • Aircraft Documents and Certificates

  • Sales Quotes (optional)

(Additional data categories may be added in future releases as the feature evolves)

Establishing a Connected Instance Relationship

To initiate a Connected Instance setup, the process follows a structured and transparent approach:

    1. Submit a Connection Request
Send a clear description of your intended connection to support@fl3xx.com:

      • Which FL3XX instances should be connected?

      • What data needs to be shared and in which direction?

      • Are there any regulatory or contractual considerations?

    2. Assessment & Configuration Plan
Our support team will evaluate the technical setup and provide a Connection Plan, including:

      • Security and compliance review

      • Data mapping and synchronization parameters

      • Timeline

    3. Approval & Implementation
Once approved, both instance administrators will receive configuration details and confirmation steps. Connections are only activated once both parties authorize the setup.

    4. Testing & Validation
Before going live, a synchronization test will be conducted to ensure data accuracy and system stability.

    5. Monitoring & Maintenance
Once active, all shared data flows are continuously monitored. Updates or connection changes can be requested at any time through our support team.

    Key Points to Remember

    • Each instance remains fully independent; no user, financial, or operational data is shared unless explicitly configured.
    • All connections require mutual consent and can be terminated at any time by either party.
    • Shared data follows the same high security and compliance standards as the core FL3XX platform.

    • FL3XX continuously expands the Connected Instances feature set to support new data categories and use cases.
