About Us

We set out 5 years ago with an untenable, provocative and disruptive ambition: to turn around the world of aviation.

As much as we love to fly, we hate to fill out papers.  As much as we love the smell of airports, we despise pollution.  As much as we are fascinated by airmanship, we feel threatened by routine flying.  And all in all, aviation is great, but it really feels old.

Our longtime experience in organizing and re-organizing operations, our know-how in special-purpose technologies, our empathy for user needs, brings together the FL3XX team.  We take on this new exciting challenge with adequate tools and resources to roll out our service in 2011.

This is how we define ourselves

Too many old people revered for their experience, who revel in the daily routing.  Too much double-checking in the name of safety.  In aviation errors are still plenty, while rules often abstract reality.

We have procedures published by editors who know the mistakes they are printing but can’t correct them.  We have maps updated in 28-day cycles.  We fill papers which are unusable for research, for safety assessments, for compliance, or just plain useless. All this is in the name of safety, dictated by Authorities which have little or no incentive to promote change.

We believe that the digital revolution is ready to come.  It’s not going to happen in a flash, nor is it going to be easy.  It requires an effort, and in the end we will fly safer and leaner, saving time, fuel and CO2.  We will fly more precisely in the 4 dimensions, and we will finally take good care of our passengers.

As a passenger, do I care to have a lounge if my flight is on time? Do I really need on-board wifi if my flight is always on-time?

It’s about time, it’s about costs, it’s about business.  Flimsy frills are the mask of inefficiency.   Lets get good at optimizing the aviation business together.

Come and join the revolution, as partner, customer, or employee.
We can do it.
